Parsley Garlic Caper Sauce

Do you have a secret sauce that is just amazing on everything?  One of those sauces that can make even a blah dish taste fabulous?  I do and it has been my secret sauce for a long time.  It is wonderful on everything from shrimp and pork to rice and potatoes.  Parsley Garlic Caper Sauce makes your taste buds jump and it is so easy to make.  It is one of those little secrets that you almost don’t want to share with anyone.  But of course, I will share it with you!

Parsley Garlic Caper Sauce

Parsley Garlic Caper Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 3 tablespoons Garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons Parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups White Wine
  • 2 tablespoons Capers
  • 1 tablespoon of Butter

Instructions

  1. Heat the Olive Oil in a large frying pan
  2. Add the Garlic and Parsley and saute until the Garlic is slightly brown
  3. Add the White Wine and bring to a boil. Once it reaches boiling point, reduce to a simmer
  4. Simmer on low for 15 minutes
  5. Add the Capers and the Butter
  6. Serve over Fish, Chicken, Pork, Rice or Boiled Potatoes

Portuguese Garlic Parsley Sauce

Kid Ratings: Alexandra 10, Ronnie 10, Reis 10, Riley 7.5 (likes it better without the capers)  Seriously, my kids will eat almost anything with this sauce on it!

    This is perfect, Isabel. I love capers and I certainly do need a quick, tasty, amazing sauce. Will leave out the butter to make it “save” for my ladies 🙂 Thank you! ~ Bea

    This looks absolutely amazing! I am a caper addict, I just love them. I even drop them on sandwiches. haha
