Nothing says summer get togethers with family and friends like Tomatoes! The only thing that could make summer juicy tomatoes better is pairing them with fresh Mozzarella and drizzling them with balsamic vinegar dressing. I have made this Tomato and Mozzarella Easy Appetizer so many times that I could make it with my eyes closed. It is my go to summer recipe and the one that is requested over and over by friends and family.
Everyone asks me, “what is your secret?” Why does it taste so good? Why does it taste different than typical Caprese Salad. The secret is in the dressing I love Good Season’s Italian All Natural Dressing. The kind that you mix at home with Balsamic Vinegar, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Lime Juice. Yes, the lime juice is a little added secret that will add a nice zip to this recipe. I use the Cruet Kit that comes with the dressing, follow the exact measurements and substitute fresh lime juice for the water.
There is one more little secret that makes this Tomato and Mozzarella Easy Appetizer so good. I don’t use basil… *gasp* … I know everyone loves basil, but have you tried green onions instead with Tomato and Mozzarella? Try it, between the lime and the tangy onions, this Tomato and Mozzarella Easy Appetizer will be a favorite with your family and friends.
The best part, you can make it ahead of time and add the dressing at the last minute. Get togethers are all about enjoying our time Around the Family Table!
