Who is Tara:  Hey all, my name is Tara Noland and I am the owner and author of Noshing With The Nolands. I am a former registered nurse who specialized in open heart ICU and have worn a few other hats since then with owning and operating a card/gift store and basket company to being a card and gift rep.  Now I am a full time blogger and stay at home mom.

My love of cooking started at a very young age where I would cook for my mother, father and grandmother. That love has continued over the years and now includes lots of time spent in the kitchen with my husband and daughter creating and entertaining.  I also has a new found love of photography, working hard to increase my skills. When I am pulled away from the kitchen my family and I love to explore and travel.

In February 2012, Noshing With The Nolands was born out of that love for cooking, entertaining and the sharing of good food with wonderful people.

Her favorite #SundaySupper theme so far:  My favorite post so far has to be Witch’s Fingers for Trick or Treat Halloween Party #SundaySupper, that one has made a lot of ground even again this year. It was an old recipe but one that has been scaring little ones for years, it is also my favorite time of year. So much ghoulish fun!! I love seeing what everyone else conjures up for that time of year too!

Her most popular #SundaySupper post:  My most popular would be Joe Montana’s Touchdown Guacamole, it has been shared many times over and has been enjoyed on Pinterest as well. It is a great recipe from an all star hero of football which also happens to be my idol and the 49ers my team!! My husband doesn’t even like guacamole but sure loves this one!!! It is not only great at game time but any time!!!

Fun Fact:  I am a Halloween freak. I love everything about it except I hate scary movies or anything really scary!! Crazy huh??? I love that you can do it or not do it and no ones says anything, you can’t do that with Christmas or you are a Scrooge. I love that you can go nuts like we do and have tons of fun with it. We have had parties for over 100 people and it has taken the entire year to plan and execute!! Here is a picture of us as the gang from Alice in Wonderland including our one dog as a rabbit and the other the caterpillar!! So much fun!! This year was skipped over because we just moved but I hope to be back at it in full swing by next year. Stay tuned!!!

Makes great sense that Tara was a former nurse, her great care with food and fellow bloggers is evident at Noshing with the Nolands. Love the Halloween photo of the family!

The witches fingers are definitely one of my favourite things that you’ve made, Tara – they’re so deliciously creepy! I absolutely love that you love Halloween as much as you do. The photo of your family all dressed up is totally awesome.
