Have you ever wanted to get away to a magical place? A place that was not only beautiful but had amazing food? I know I have! One of the places that I have always wanted to visit is the Portuguese Island of Madeira. From what my parents have told me, it is one of the most beautiful places in the World!
Way back, when I was a twitter newbie, I wanted to connect with people from Portugal. As I was searching, I came across @Reids_Palace. When I clicked on their link and saw this picture, it was Love at first site!
So I followed and loved everything that they fed me. Literally every picture that I have seen from this magical place is a true Recipe for Success.
You all know how much I love Fish and Seafood. Since I am Portuguese, it is just in my blood. One of my absolute favorite dishes is a Portuguese Caldeirada. Imagine my surprise when I asked the Executive Chef from Reid’s Palace what he would serve for Sunday Supper and he executed one of my favorite Seafood Dishes. Caldeirada or Fish Stew is one of those dishes everyone must try at least once.
I am a seafood lover! But I have to confess, I don’t know if I am in love with the Seafood in this dish as much as I am in love with the Sauce. Words can not describe this combination of flavors in this fabulous sauce. You must try this recipe yourself.
With a view like this, it is hard to focus on the food. Trust me, you will be happy to have tried this recipe…

March 24, 2012 at 10:39 pmIts one of the only times the entire family sits down at the table together – no tv, radio or phones, laptops tablets, toys. Our kids are still young but we chat about their day at school and what ever else – but the point is we connect. That’s what family supper is all about to me. The bonus is the kids, like to help me with the prep work too and it makes them feel important and appreciate what goes into food & family.
