Top 5 Food Blogs for Sunday Supper Recipes #SundaySupper

By FamilyFoodie 4 Comments

One Sunday back in October, I tweeted as I prepared my #SundaySupper.  Next thing I knew, others were tweeting about their meal, inquiring about Recipes and forming friendships.  We had so much fun, that the next Sunday, I did it again.  And once again, received the same friendly and conversation filled welcome.

Our group grew every week and I loved that everyone was joining the fun by giving tips, sharing recipes and inspiring each other to Bring Back Sunday Supper Around the Family Table.

On January 8, 2012, we had our first “official” #SundaySupper Progressive Dinner and we haven’t stopped since.  We moved right on to Saucy Super Bowl #SundaySupper, Romance Dinner #SundaySupper and Oscar’s #SundaySupper. You bring the fun, we’ll bring the food! The day after our Oscar’s Party, Gayle Guyardo from WFLA Ch 8 contacted me and asked to interview me.  I was surprised, honored and nervous.

No one was happier and more supportive than my #SundaySupper friends when I told them that we were going to be on TV!  Truth be told, they are the true Super Stars!  They inspire me every week with their amazing recipes and willingness to help others Spend Time Around the Family Table.

There are so many amazing recipes that are contributed every week.  You have no idea how hard it was to choose only 5.

These 5 Blogs deserve the award for Top 5 Food Blogs for Sunday Supper or any day:

Sue Sue’s Nutrition Buzz Best Healthy Recipe Award

Renee Magnolia Days I Want to Live Next Door Recipe Award

Rashmi  The Primlani Kitchen Most Creative Recipe Award

Val from Val’s Food and or Art Best Family Recipe Award

Jen from Juanita’s Cocina Best Ethnic Recipe Award

Join us every Sunday afternoon for our movement to Bring Back Sunday Supper Around the Family Table on twitter.  You can use the hashtag #SundaySupper or follow along on tweetchat. Come hungry, share recipes, make new friends and be inspired!

Great blogs and great recipes, I agree. And I’d love to have PenelopeCooks included on that wonderful list–maybe for Best Cheater’s Recipes Award? Or Easiest Recipe Award? Oh well, maybe next #SundaySupper.
