The Pink Ginger Martini

The Pink Martini Signature Drink by Datz Tampa

A good friend was diagnosed with Breast Cancer this year.  I have always been a supporter of breast cancer awareness, but seeing close up what a family goes through when faced with the reality that breast cancer has hit THEIR home, has  made me realize more than ever the importance of breast cancer prevention and awareness.

When a friend is diagnosed with breast cancer, you wonder what can I do?  You offer help with the kids, of course you bring over dinner and you try to be there for your friend.  You realize, there really isn’t anything you can do to make it all better besides show your love and support.

When I was approached about joining the Susan G. Komen Florida Suncoast Race for the Cure, I realized there is something more I can do.  I can help by getting involved and hopefully making a difference towards the future.  I would love to have you join me!

If you are in the Tampa Bay area, please join me at The Florida Aquarium on September 18 for the kick-off party for the Susan G. Komen Florida Suncoast Race for the Cure, The Pink Martini Party.
