#WeekdaySupper Busch Gardens and Sara Moulton

By FamilyFoodie 5 Comments

Happy Monday!  I hope you enjoyed your holiday weekend and time with family and friends.  We had such a wonderful fun weekend with the kids.  Our plans included a day at Busch Gardens, one of our favorite theme parks.  We are so fortunate to live close by and when we visit, it is always a day filled with laughs, screams and wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

This visit was no different.  Our family loves to ride roller coasters and we are finally (after all those years of someone having to sit out and wait) all tall enough to ride the roller coasters.  We are a little torn on which roller coaster is our favorite.  We are in agreement that it is between Sheikra and Cheetah Hunt, although to me there is no competition… I love Cheetah Hunt!

Yesterday’s Sunday Supper Event was a truly special one to me.  I was so honored to have Sara Moulton, who I have admired for years, join us around the family table.  We enjoyed cooking recipes inspired by her and sharing them with everyone.  The highlight, was chatting with Sara on twitter during the #SundaySupper chat.  Her cookbook, Everyday Family Dinners, is filled with great family recipes and inspiration for busy moms.  She is so genuine and such a wealth of information and I just can not wait to meet her in 10 days at the Food and Wine Conference.  Sara will be showing us how to give “The Perfect Cooking Demonstration” and will also hold a “VIP Roundtable Event”  with bloggers.

Sara Moulton Everyday Family Dinners

Sara reminds us of the importance of family meals and encourages us to plan our meals and stock our pantries.  Instead of planning our meals at the grocery store, plan them at home and be prepared.  This week’s Weekday Supper Contributors are doing just that!  I am so excited to try  the beautiful and easy dinner recipes by these talented bloggers.  Spending time around the family table is one of the best investments we can make in our families.

I love love love Busch Gardens! It is our family’s Disney. We’ve been to the one in Florida and Virginia. Love them both! What great family time. This Week’s #WeekdaySupper lineup looks delicious! So exciting. I can’t wait to try some of Sara Moultons recipes for my own weekday suppers.
