Have you ever been to an Olive Oil tasting? Do you know how virgin is your extra virgin? I am a huge Extra Virgin Olive Oil fan but I have never attended an Olive Oil tasting and I’m not sure if I truly know how virgin my extra virgin is. If you scan my blog, you will notice that almost all of my recipes call for Extra Virgin Olive Oil. What can I say… being Portuguese, I am hooked on Extra Virgin Olive Oil and can’t imagine using anything else. That is why I am so excited about this incredible event put together by the Chile Olive Oil Council and Flamestone American Grill.
If you have ever tasted great quality extra virgin olive oil, you know the difference between really good olive oil and average olive oil. Flavorful, aromatic, pure ~ a unique taste that is remarkable. We invite you to come along and take a dip with us. Explore the extraordinary flavor of chilean Extra virgin Olive Oil and see why their olive oils are finding their ways around the family table for chefs, gourmets, foodies and home cooks around the world.
Come along with us as we tantalize your taste buds during a virtual Olive Oil tasting experience. You won’t be sorry you did.
I am honored to be hosting this incredible Extra Virgin Olive Oil inspired event at one of my favorite restaurants in the Tampa Bay area, Flamestone American Grill. Executive Chef, Eric Lackey, has won many awards and just placed 2nd in the United States Grill Master competition. There was never a doubt in my mind that the menu would be out of this world. It is one thing to cook with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, but it is another thing to have the culinary creativity to come up with an outstanding menu like this one:

May 27, 2013 at 9:19 pmI am really impressed with the Misto Olive Oil Mister I purchased
last yr. It works by using less oil which has
to be healthy and it will save dollars too.
