Gingerbread ZombiesGet ready for Halloween with Gingerbread Zombies
The nip of fall is finally in the air most places. Even here in Florida temperatures are starting to dip down at night. I won’t blame you if you laugh at me when I tell you that the dips are only in the 60s. That’s chilly for us! And I have to say that Halloween is in the air all around us.

We are in the middle of football season and it seems to take up most of our week. I find myself reminiscing about when my kids were little, we had such fun deciding on their costumes and getting in the kitchen to create special treats for their teachers and classmates. I’m honestly not sure which they liked best, getting candy or giving out the homemade treats.

Now that they are older, they still dress up to hand out Halloween candy to all our young neighbors who are trick or treating. And since no one wants to be stuck in the kitchen on Halloween night when all the excitement is happening out front, it’s become a tradition to make my slow cooker pulled pork, I tell you the sugar in this recipe takes it over the top!  It is easy, perfect for a quick meal and it is always handy to share with others.
