Red Wine Sauce | Molho de Vinho Tinto #SundaySupper

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of beef broth
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1 cup Portuguese red wine or red wine of your choice
  • ¼ cup of soy sauce
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and add the garlic.
  2. Stir until the garlic is slightly browned.
  3. Stir in the flour and mix well until golden brown.
  4. Add the remainder of ingredients while stirring constantly.
  5. Stir until the consistency of the sauce is slightly thick.
  6. Remove bay leaf.
  7. The consistency is not meant to be very thick, add more red wine if needed.
  8. Perfect with Beef or Pork.
