- 1 cup of beef broth
- 4 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 cup Portuguese red wine or red wine of your choice
- ¼ cup of soy sauce
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and add the garlic.
- Stir until the garlic is slightly browned.
- Stir in the flour and mix well until golden brown.
- Add the remainder of ingredients while stirring constantly.
- Stir until the consistency of the sauce is slightly thick.
- Remove bay leaf.
- The consistency is not meant to be very thick, add more red wine if needed.
- Perfect with Beef or Pork.
