Look what we found at the Farmer’s Market shopping #SundaySupper

Gracie We love to shop our local Farmer’s Market every Saturday in preparation for our Sunday Supper meal.  There is something about going downtown and checking out what is in season and new every week. The vendors are wonderful and I love chatting with them about their fabulous products. Supporting local and bringing home my Farmer’s Markets finds to serve Around the Family Table  is important to me.

Alexandra was home from College and we wanted to make our new salsa, bruschetta and guacamole recipes for her.  Reis perfected the recipes and they are to die for!  We bribed Alexandra to get up early with homemade hummus and fudge.

I’m thinking fruit, veggies, fish spread, hummus. Instead, look what we found at the Farmer’s Market shopping #SundaySupper…

Am I the only Mom that could head out to the Farmer’s Market and get talked into a dog?

Look what we found at the Farmer's Market shopping #SundaySupper This sweet little girl was just what our home needed!  I don’t know who is luckier… her or us?

So sweet! And funny, too. No, I can’t think of anyone I know who has come home from grocery shopping with a puppy – from a Farmer’s Market or anywhere else 🙂

She looks so sweet. My cousin just adopted a Boston. We used to walk down to the Dunedin farmers market with our pup every Saturday, but we haven’t been able to since he got sick. He loved to go over and look at all the dogs. If my hubby would let me I would have brought them all home!

Have you ever bought salsa from the guy there? He makes one with beer in it that is delicious!

Oh my gosh! That it just too cute! I know I sure WANTED to take home all the puppies from markets or art fairs, etc., but never gave in to the urge. I commend you for jumping in with both feet — er, all four feet! 🙂

So sweet! These things happen. I also have gone out for one thing and came home with a dog. I am glad to see another adoption for a dog that needed a good and loving home.

This is my FAVORITE type of dog! We had a Boston Terrier growing up, and I wish I could have another one. My husband says no. But, I get to see cute pictures of your new dog!
